Remembering Alec
After a successful heart surgery at U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor on June 20, Alec Anson didn't wake up. For unknown reasons his brain began swelling uncontrollably, causing severe damage. Alec died at 2:59 PM on June 23, 2006, at the age of 16. His life touched many. Alec was an organ donor. Even in his death he was able to bring hope and life to others. This blog was designed to bring healing and comfort to those closest to Alec. Please post your comments accordingly!

I was in florida the last time alec talked to me, the night before his surgery...
he said: have fun, see you soon and get tan!!!
my last words to him were on thursday night, when we knew it was close to the end...
i said: i love you, you'll always be 'my bud'...but it's time to go home...go home
I was lucky I was able to see him at the mud hens game on sunday, june 11th.As he punched me in the arm and almost knocked me down I said "Alec, you brat." He said "I love you too:)" I told him I loved him too and we needed to hang out sometime soon.
the last this i remember him saying is ill see you when iget back or ill call you when i get back and maybe we candosomethin so now i am goin to go scare your sister and what i said tohim is c ya later
im gonna miss alot no 1 and this sftball tournament is for u
the last words he said to me were whats up nad i said nothing....

the last words he said to me was see you over the summer billy and the last thing i said to him was yeah i will for shure see u

I didnt talk to Alec for a while before his surgery..
The day that Alec had his surgery and i had found out about everything with him in a comma...The last thing i said and only wished that he was able to hear was...
"Alec your strong pull through. Were all praying and thinking of you. Here. I love you Bro"....

the last words he said to me face to face when he gave me a ride home from kristinas and he kept saying i gotta take a dump and see you later. and the last text he sent me was when i was in florida and he text me saying whats up

last time we saw Alec was at Kasey's graduation party. Alec was throwing a football around (Surprize!) and he stopped when he saw us walk up. He said "hey guys what's up" smiled and gave Marty a kiss. Alec seemed happy to see us.
alec and i were in andys basement and he gave me a mega sack-tap and i got really mad and walked away when i was feeling a little bit better i started walking towards alec and he said to me "man please i didnt mean to hit u that hard" and he started to back up,then i said ur lucky i love u or i would've kicked ur butt" then i gave him a hug
it was a day before his surgery i still have the conversation saved...

then we said bye for the very last time!
and i never got to the hospital for him! i could not go it would have been to painful! i am so sorry alec..i just could not see you like that you were to strong of a boy to go like that and i no that i would break down if i saw you like that!
his last works were:of course i peed my pants cuz peeing your pants is the coolest...billy madison...
